Over the last 10 years, Andre Lodemann has dominated the underground dance scene with his deep and aggressive, yet warm and evolving signature sound. This has allowed him to form his own label (Best Works Records) with which he is releasing his new album, The Deeper You Go. The lengthy second track from the album, ‘Emptiness’ does anything but what it says on the tin. Full of cutting synth lines, wandering basslines and perfectly mixed and manipulated percussion, the instrumental track is full of exciting timbres that combine to use “all possible means to create emotional sound sculptures”.
